A golden girl with so much love to give
Scarlett is a gentle and affectionate Lab X with a sweet soul and warm presence. At 9 years old, she enjoys attention and bonding moments with her humans. She’s been described as loving and calm, content to share space and simply be near those she trusts. Thunderstorms can make her uneasy, so a peaceful home and a little reassurance go a long way.
Best with slow introductions
Scarlett has lived with other dogs—including Cody—but can be protective of her food around other pups. She would benefit from structured introductions with any new dog friends and a calm environment where she feels secure. While her experience with cats and children is unknown, she’s shown herself to be a gentle companion. Due to her arthritis, she moves at a slower pace, and a soft, sheltered resting space will keep her comfortable.
Her bond with Cody is something special
Scarlett and Cody have shared many years side by side and truly thrive in each other’s company. While they will adapt if rehomed separately, they’d love to remain together if possible. If you’re open to adopting two golden-hearted seniors, you’ll be gaining a pair that’s already bonded in love and loyalty.
Looking for a soft place to land
Scarlett was adopted from CLAW and has lived a life full of care—but due to changes in her owner’s living situation, she’s now searching for a new chapter. She’s sterilised, vaccinated, and receives arthritis treatment to keep her happy and mobile. All she needs now is someone to welcome her home.
