A gentle soul with a heart of gold
Cody is an affectionate, purebred black Lab with a soft nature and a big love for cuddles. At 11 years old, he’s calm, sweet, and still enjoys bursts of playful energy. His favourite things? A cosy spot to rest, a loving hand to scratch behind his ears, and a peaceful, predictable routine. Thunderstorms can make him a little uneasy, so a reassuring voice nearby goes a long way.
Dog-friendly and easygoing
Cody gets along beautifully with other dogs, having lived harmoniously with his canine companions, including his best friend Scarlett. While he hasn't lived with cats or children, his temperament suggests he'd thrive in a calm, quiet home, especially one familiar with the needs of older dogs. He prefers outdoor naps and is currently not leash trained, but with gentle guidance, he could blossom in new surroundings.
A special bond with Scarlett
Cody and Scarlett have spent several happy years together and share a strong bond. While they will adapt if rehomed separately, they would truly flourish if given the chance to stay side by side. If you have space in your heart and home for two, this loving pair will reward you with double the affection and loyalty.
Ready for a second chance
Cody was originally adopted from Lab Rescue and is now searching for his next chapter due to a change in his owner's circumstances. He’s healthy, sterilised, and ready to settle into a forever home filled with patience, comfort, and love.
