Gumdrop is clever, affectionate, and full of soulful charm.

This beautiful 6-year-old Africanis mix is a one-of-a-kind companion—loving, protective, and incredibly loyal to her people. She’s lived with children, other dogs, and her Labrador “brother,” Denver, and has thrived in a home filled with connection and routine. Gumdrop is housetrained, leash-trained, and gives the kind of full-body hugs that steal your heart.

Intelligent and deeply devoted
Gumdrop is alert and eager to learn, especially if snacks are involved. She has a protective streak and may be wary of strangers on walks, but she settles beautifully with calm leadership and a secure environment. She can be sensitive during thunderstorms or when startled in public, so a home with understanding and patience will help her feel confident and safe.

A bond worth honouring
Gumdrop was adopted as a puppy alongside her lifelong friend Denver, and older pal, Maya, while they can be rehomed separately, we’d love to see them stay connected if possible. Together, they’ve shared years of love, laughter, and loyal companionship.

If you’re looking for a dog who will love you with her whole heart and stay by your side through it all, Gumdrop is ready to be yours. She’s a special soul in search of a soft landing—and a family to call forever.
