Maya is a calm, loving companion with a heart full of grace.
At around 10 years old, this beautiful black Lab has spent nearly a decade bringing steadiness and affection to her family. She’s kind with children, friendly with other dogs, and brings a quiet, grounding energy wherever she goes. Maya is housetrained, leash trained, and the kind of dog who doesn’t need much—just love, a soft bed, and someone to lean on.
A gentle giant with endless patience
Maya has lived alongside small children and has been remarkably tolerant and gentle, even when little ones used her as a pillow. She’s not fazed by noise or chaos, and although she doesn’t care much for swimming, she loves a good car ride and being part of the day-to-day. Her medical history includes a small, stable mass in her chest, diagnosed years ago and unchanged—something her vet believed was not cause for concern.
A steady soul ready for her next chapter
Maya is part of a trio of much-loved dogs facing rehoming due to an overseas move. While she can be adopted on her own, she would do beautifully in a home with another calm dog or one of her companions, Gumdrop or Denver, if you’re open to a pair.
