Comment (optional)
Charlie is a deeply affectionate boy with a gentle, loving nature and so much love to give.
Personality & Quirks
Charlie is sweet-natured and affectionate, and he enjoys being around people. He can be sensitive to loud noises, although thunder does not seem to worry him. He is not comfortable around other dogs and may growl when one comes too close, so he needs calm, patient guidance and thoughtful management. He is a loving companion who will appreciate a secure and understanding home.
Compatibility
Charlie is good with children and has lived with children in his previous home. He is not currently socialised with other dogs and can react when dogs approach him, so he would be best suited to a home where he can have space from other dogs. There are no cats in his history, so his compatibility with cats is unknown. A family able to respect his boundaries will be important.
Daily Life & Favourite Things
Charlie enjoys car rides and being indoors, where he usually sleeps. He has had some basic training and can walk well on a lead when there are no other dogs around, although he does pull when walking. He enjoys human affection and has a sweet, loving nature. His enjoyment of swimming is unknown, but car rides are clearly something he has enjoyed.
Ideal Home
Charlie needs a loving home with people who can offer patient, confident handling and help him feel secure around the things he finds challenging. A family with the strength to walk him safely and continue working on his lead skills would be ideal. He would benefit from a calm environment where his interactions with other dogs can be carefully managed and where he can receive plenty of companionship.
Charlie has been deeply loved and is now looking for a home where he can continue to feel safe, cherished and understood. He has so much affection to give and will be a wonderful companion for the right family. If you have the time, strength and commitment to help Charlie settle into a new chapter, please consider giving this sweet boy the forever home he deserves.
