We’re the best of friends and hope to find a family who'll welcome us both.
Bailey is a loving, playful girl whose happy personality shines once she feels safe and secure. She can be a little skittish initially, but with time and reassurance she settles and shows her affectionate nature. Bailey loves attention and has a wonderfully endearing habit of carrying what her family describes as a constant smile. Her gentle personality and playful spirit make her a very special companion.
Personality & Quirks:
Bailey is affectionate, playful and people-oriented, enjoying attention and affection from those around her. Although she may be cautious when first meeting someone or entering a new environment, she becomes more comfortable once she feels safe. Her cheerful expression is one of her most charming qualities. Bailey also has a particularly strong bond with her brother Hobs, and their relationship is an important part of her wellbeing.
Compatibility:
Bailey has lived successfully with children and has had no reported aggression towards them. She is socialised with other dogs and has no reported aggression towards them. Her response to cats is not fully known, although she does bark at them, so a cat-free home would be the most appropriate choice. Above all, Bailey and Hobs are a bonded pair and must be rehomed together, as they are very closely attached.
Daily Life & Favourite Things:
Bailey enjoys play, attention and affection, and she particularly loves spending time with her brother. She has not had formal training and does not currently walk well on lead, so her new family will need to be patient while helping her become more comfortable with lead walking. She does not enjoy swimming or car rides and sleeps both indoors and outdoors. A calm, supportive routine will help her settle confidently.
Ideal Home:
Bailey needs a loving home where she can remain with Hobs and where both dogs will be welcomed as a pair. A family with children could be a lovely fit, provided they can give both dogs the attention and companionship they need. Her new family should be patient with her initial skittishness and understand that she may need time to feel secure. A cat-free home would be preferable.
